Illinois High School Basketball - Princeton holds off Seneca
February 4, 2025: Princeton, IL 61356 The Princeton Tigers basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Seneca Fighting Irish to 53 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now have a 16-9 record. They play next when they host Hall for a Three Rivers - East game on Thursday, February 6. Princeton will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 43-40 non-league win over Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 16-10.
With the loss, Seneca falls to 20-8 on the campaign. The Fighting irish host Dwight (Dwight, IL) to confront the Trojans in a Tri-County game on Thursday, February 6. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 17-11. Dwight won 50-20 in their recent non-league game against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL)
