Virginia High School Basketball - Varina triumphant over Hanover
February 4, 2025: Richmond, VA 23231 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA), observed Varina's basketball team overwhelm Hanover by a margin of 82-48.
The Blue Devils (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Armstrong (Richmond, VA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Armstrong was trounced by Meridian (Falls Church, VA), 52-38, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Hanover will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 57-32 non-league win over Armstrong (Richmond, VA).
