West Virginia High School Basketball - Lewis County routed by Lincoln
February 4, 2025: Shinnston, WV 26431 Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV), 83-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lincoln advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cougars host Preston (Kingwood, WV) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. The Knights enter the match with a record of 4-2.
The Minutemen now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenbrier East for a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. Lewis County will face a Spartans squad coming off a 73-31 non-league win over Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
