The Shakopee Sabers basketball team scored 85 points and held the visiting Chanhassen Storm to 51 in the Sabers league triumph on Saturday.

The Sabers now sport a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prior Lake for a AAAA Section 2 contest on Tuesday, February 8. Shakopee will battle a Lakers team coming off a 67-63 league win over Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 7-12.

The Storm (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chaska (Chaska, MN). The Hawks enter the AAAA Section 2 contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Chaska was routed by Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN), 67-58, in a non-league contest.
