New Jersey High School Basketball - Cherokee holds off Haddonfield
February 5, 2022: Haddonfield, NJ 08033 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) and the host Haddonfield Bulldawgs (Haddonfield, NJ), saw Cherokee's basketball squad hold off Haddonfield by a tally of 43-39.
With the victory, Cherokee improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Seneca (Tabernacle, NJ) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-13. Seneca won 54-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Rancocas Valley (Mt. Holly, NJ)
Next up, the Bulldawgs confront the Collingswood Panthers (Collingswood, NJ) in a Colonial - Liberty challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Haddonfield will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 50-40 league loss to Sterling (Somerdale, NJ).
