Colorado High School Basketball - Roosevelt holds off Fort Morgan
February 5, 2022: Johnstown, CO 80534 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Roosevelt Roughriders (Johnstown, CO) and the visiting Fort Morgan Mustangs (Fort Morgan, CO), saw Roosevelt's basketball squad hold off Fort Morgan by a tally of 54-49.
With the victory, Roosevelt improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Mountain View (Loveland, CO) to confront the Mountain Lions in a 4A Longs Peak challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Mountain Lions come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Mountain View won 65-48 in their recent league challenge against Niwot (Niwot, CO)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Northridge Grizzlies (Greeley, CO) in a 4A Longs Peak challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Fort Morgan will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 88-44 league loss to Frederick (Frederick, CO).
