February 5, 2022: Richmond, VA 23227 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA) and the host Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA), saw Hayfield's basketball squad overcome Marshall by a tally of 68-54.
With the victory, Hayfield improves its record to 19-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Edison (Alexandria, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Edison won 73-61 in their recent league challenge against Lewis (Springfield, VA)
Next up, the Justices play the Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA) in a Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 60-49 league loss to Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA).
