February 5, 2022: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD) basketball squad felled the visiting St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings (Buckeystown, MD), by a margin of 63-54.
The Wildebeests (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Hebrew Academy (Rockville, MD). The go into the Potomac Valley outing with a 2-2 record.
The Vikings now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary's for a MIAA B outing on Monday, February 7. St. John's Catholic Prep will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 79-47 league win over Archbishop Curley (Baltimore, MD). The Saints record now stands at 18-7.
