Massachusetts High School Basketball - Bishop Hendricken can't hold off Newton North
February 5, 2023: Newtonville, MA 02460 The Newton North Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Bishop Hendricken Hawks to 52 in the Tigers non-league victory on Sunday.
The Tigers now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Natick for a Bay State - Herget contest on Tuesday, February 7.
The Hawks (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Clippers come into the State Championship contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Cumberland edged Westerly (Westerly, RI), 48-40, in a league contest.
