New Jersey High School Basketball - South Shore topples DePaul Catholic
February 5, 2023: Wayne, NJ 07470 In Sunday's non-league outing, the South Shore Vikings (Brooklyn, NY) basketball squad beat the host DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ), by a margin of 55-36.
The Vikings (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln (Brooklyn, NY). The Railsplitters go into the PSAL Brooklyn AA outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Lincoln was topped by Bowne (Flushing, NY), 69-63, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they host St. Joseph Regional for a Big North - United outing on Tuesday, February 7. DePaul Catholic will clash with a Green Knights squad coming off a 76-65 non-league win over Teaneck (Teaneck, NJ). The Green Knights record now stands at 10-7.
