Pennsylvania High School Basketball - First Love Christian Academy holds off George School
February 5, 2023: Washington, PA 15301 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the First Love Christian Academy (Washington, PA) and the visiting George School Cougars (Newtown, PA), saw First Love Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off George School by a tally of 78-72.
With the victory, First Love Christian Academy improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The travel to Linsly (Wheeling, WV) to confront the Cadets in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 20. The Cadets come into the challenge with a record of 12-6.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Westtown (West Chester, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. George School will attempt to improve on its 18-6 season record. The come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 66-49 league win over Shipley (Bryn Mawr, PA).
