New York High School Basketball - Monsignor Farrell tops Holy Trinity
February 5, 2023: Hicksville, NY 11801 Monsignor Farrell Lions (Staten Island, NY) backers were pleased Sunday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Holy Trinity Titans (Hicksville, NY), 66-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Monsignor Farrell upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Nazareth (Brooklyn, NY) to play the Kingsmen in a Catholic A bout on Friday, February 10. The Kingsmen come into the bout with a record of 14-0.
Next up, the Titans play the St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) in a Catholic Nassau Suffolk bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Holy Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Friars come into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 60-40 non-league win over Portledge (Locust Valley, NY).
