February 5, 2024: Waterloo, IA 50702 The Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA) basketball felled the host Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA), 60-47 in Monday's league test.
The Falcons (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 2-17 record.
The Sailors now own a 7-17 record. They play next when they travel to Gladbrook-Reinbeck for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Columbus will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 57-55 non-league win over Union (La Porte City, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 16-4.
