Maryland High School Basketball - Bladensburg holds off Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North
February 5, 2024: Bladensburg, MD 20710 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD) and the visiting Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD), saw Bladensburg's basketball squad hold off Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North by a tally of 56-54.
With the victory, Bladensburg improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Parkdale (Riverdale, MD) to confront the Panthers in a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-12. Parkdale lost 51-49 in their recent league challenge against Crossland (Temple Hills, MD)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 84-69 non-league win over High Point (Beltsville, MD).
