February 5, 2024: Sutherlin, OR 97479 In Monday's non-league outing, the Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Camas Valley Hornets (Camas Valley, OR), by a margin of 58-31.
The Bulldogs (4-18) will now prepare for their outing against Glide (Glide, OR). The Wildcats go into the 3A Far West outing with a 5-16 record. In their last outing, Glide was trounced by South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR), 59-39, in a league outing.
The Hornets now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they host Umpqua Valley Christian for a 1A Skyline bout on Friday, February 9. Camas Valley will play a Monarchs squad coming off a 48-41 league win over New Hope Christian (Grants Pass, OR). The Monarchs record now stands at 10-12.
