Minnesota High School Basketball - Zumbrota-Mazeppa fells Cotter
February 5, 2024: Winona, MN 55987 Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cotter Ramblers (Winona, MN), 60-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Zumbrota-Mazeppa upgrades its record to 14-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Lourdes (Rochester, MN) to play the Eagles in a AA Section 1 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-18. Lourdes won 61-56 in their recent non-league bout against Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN)
Next up, the Ramblers play the La Crescent Lancers (La Crescent, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Cotter will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 93-64 non-league win over Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN).
