New York High School Basketball - Schoharie winner over Coxsackie-Athens
February 5, 2024: Schoharie, NY 12157 In Monday's non-league outing, the Schoharie Storm (Schoharie, NY) basketball squad felled the visiting Coxsackie-Athens Riverhawks (Coxsackie, NY), by a margin of 61-48.
The Storm (7-11) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Plain (Fort Plain, NY). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league outing with a 8-11 record. In their last outing, Fort Plain thwarted Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY), 69-51, in a league outing.
The Riverhawks now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to Watervliet for a Section 2 Patroon outing on Tuesday, February 6. Coxsackie-Athens will clash with a Cannoneers squad coming off a 70-64 league loss to Maple Hill (Castleton on Hudson, NY). The Cannoneers record now stands at 15-2.
