February 5, 2024: Omaha, NE Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE) and the host Westview (Omaha, NE), saw Kearney's basketball squad overcome Westview by a tally of 51-42.
With the victory, Kearney improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE) to confront the Knights in a A District TBD challenge on Friday, February 9. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Lincoln Southeast lost 72-67 in their recent league challenge against Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE)
Next up, the confront the Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Westview will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 60-43 league loss to Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE).
