The Rocky River Pirates basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Valley Forge Patriots to 41 in the Pirates league triumph on Monday.

The Pirates now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakewood for a Great Lakes contest on Tuesday, February 6. Rocky River will battle a Rangers team coming off a 65-36 league win over Valley Forge (Parma Heights, OH). The Rangers record now stands at 12-5.

The Patriots (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH). The Green Wave enter the Great Lakes contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Holy Name triumphed over Westlake (Westlake, OH), 80-67, in a league contest.
