Wisconsin High School Basketball - Turtle Lake can't hold off Spring Valley
February 5, 2024: Spring Valley, WI 54767 The Spring Valley Cardinals basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Turtle Lake Lakers to 47 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cardinals now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mondovi for a Dunn-St. Croix contest on Thursday, February 8. Spring Valley will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 79-43 non-league loss to Alma Center Lincoln (Alma Center, WI). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-17.
The Lakers (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Webster (Webster, WI). The Tigers enter the Lakeland - West contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Webster was nudged by Luck (Luck, WI), 63-54, in a league contest.
