The Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA), 45-44 in Monday's non-league test.

The Vikings (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Titans go into the Dulles test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Dominion was tipped by Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA), 45-43, in a league outing.

The Spartans now own a 13-7 record. They play next when they host John Champe for a Freelance outing on Tuesday, February 6. Broad Run will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 35-34 non-league loss to Park View (Sterling, VA). The Knights record now stands at 3-11.
