Iowa High School Basketball - Creston topped by Clarinda
February 5, 2024: Clarinda, IA 51632 The Clarinda Cardinals basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Creston Panthers to 37 in the Cardinals league victory on Monday.
The Cardinals now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shenandoah for a Hawkeye Ten contest on Tuesday, February 6. Clarinda will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 38-27 league loss to Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-9.
The Panthers (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA). The Titans come into the Hawkeye Ten contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Lewis Central prevailed over Glenwood (Glenwood, IA), 51-27, in a league contest.
