Ohio High School Basketball - Columbia nips Westlake
February 5, 2024: Columbia Station, OH 44028 Columbia Raiders (Columbia Station, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH), 54-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Columbia upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Raiders host Oberlin (Oberlin, OH) to play the The Phoenix in a Lorain County 8 bout on Wednesday, February 7. The The Phoenix come into the bout with a record of 2-16. Oberlin lost 40-27 in their recent league bout against Clearview (Lorain, OH)
Next up, the Demons play the Holy Name Green Wave (Parma Heights, OH) in a Great Lakes bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Westlake will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Green Wave come into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 60-38 non-league win over Hawken (Gates Mills, OH).
