February 5, 2024: Gaithersburg, MD 20877 The Einstein Titans (Kensington, MD) basketball nipped the host Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD), 48-44 in Monday's non-league test.
The Titans (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, Wheaton was tipped by Northwood (Silver Spring, MD), 54-48, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they host Seneca Valley for a Montgomery County - 4A West test on Wednesday, February 7. Gaithersburg will encounter a Screamin' Eagles squad coming off a 71-35 league win over Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD). The Screamin' Eagles record now stands at 13-3.
