South Dakota High School Basketball - Ethan fells Mt. Vernon/Plankinton
February 5, 2024: Ethan, SD 57334 Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD), 61-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ethan upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Rustlers travel to Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 5-10.
Next up, the Titans confront the Dell Rapids Quarriers (Dell Rapids, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Quarriers come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 46-32 non-league loss to Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD).
