Iowa High School Basketball - Iowa City West topples Keokuk
February 5, 2024: Keokuk, IA 52632 In Monday's non-league outing, the Iowa City West Trojans (Iowa City, IA) basketball squad beat the host Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA), by a count of 53-39.
The Trojans (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Cougars come into the Mississippi Valley challenge with a 7-13 record. In their last challenge, Kennedy was dropped by Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA), 61-55, in a league challenge.
Next up, the Chiefs play the Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA) in a Southeast challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Keokuk will attempt to upgrade on its 18-4 season record. The Bloodhounds come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 52-29 league loss to Keokuk (Keokuk, IA).
