New Mexico High School Basketball - Jemez Valley trounces Tierra Encantada
February 5, 2024: Santa Fe, NM 87507 The Jemez Valley Warriors (Jemez Pueblo, NM) basketball crushed the host Tierra Encantada (Santa Fe, NM), 57-4 in Monday's non-league test.
The Warriors (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagle go into the A District 7 test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy was trounced by Coronado (Gallina, NM), 38-33, in a league test.
The now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Academy for Technology and The Classics for a 2A District 2 test on Tuesday, February 6. Tierra Encantada will encounter a squad coming off a 39-37 league win over Native American Community Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The record now stands at 6-12.
