The Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV) basketball crushed the visiting Las Vegas Wildcats (Las Vegas, NV), 43-17 in Monday's league test.

The Panthers (13-10) will now prepare for their test against Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV). The Diamondbacks go into the 5A Southern test with a 5-16 record. In their last test, Desert Oasis was trounced by Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV), 64-45, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 0-19 record. They play next when they host Sunrise Mountain for a non-league test on Thursday, February 8. Las Vegas will encounter a Miners squad coming off a 51-32 league loss to Foothill (Henderson, NV). The Miners record now stands at 16-12.
