Tri-Unity Christian Defenders (Wyoming, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders (Muskegon, MI), 27-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tri-Unity Christian upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Defenders travel to Calhoun Christian (Battle Creek, MI) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Calhoun Christian lost 41-31 in their recent non-league bout against Factoryville Christian (Athens, MI)

Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Pentwater Falcons (Pentwater, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Muskegon Catholic Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 36-23 league loss to Marion (Marion, MI).
