Maine High School Basketball - Scarborough fells Thornton Academy
February 5, 2024: Scarborough, ME 04074 Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME), 56-39 in a league bout.
With the win, Scarborough upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season.
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) in a AA South bout, on Thursday, February 8. Thornton Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Scots go into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 47-30 league loss to Sanford (Sanford, ME).
