Michigan High School Basketball - Whittemore-Prescott bested by Akron-Fairgrove
February 5, 2025: Whittemore, MI 48770 Akron-Fairgrove Vikings (Fairgrove, MI) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals (Whittemore, MI), 59-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Akron-Fairgrove advances its record to 4-13 on the year. The Vikings host Bentley (Burton, MI) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 12-6. Bentley won 83-47 in their recent non-league match against Flint Southwestern Academy (Flint, MI)
The Cardinals now own a 1-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rogers City for a North Star match on Friday, February 7.
