February 5, 2025: Richmond, VA 23223 The Armstrong Wildcats basketball squad (Richmond, VA), was crushed 71-48 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA)
With the victory, Meridian advances its record to 19-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA) to meet the Tigers in a Northwestern battle on Friday, February 7. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 1-19.
The Wildcats now own a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Varina for a Capital battle on Friday, February 7. Armstrong will meet a Blue Devils squad coming off a 79-33 league win over Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-3.
