February 5, 2025: Chicago, IL 60626 Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks (Chicago, IL) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Chicago Sullivan Tigers (Chicago, IL), 56-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Steinmetz College Prep advances its record to 4-12 on the year. The Silver Streaks travel to Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 5-21. Berwyn/Cicero Morton lost 50-47 in their recent league match against Proviso East (Maywood, IL)
The Tigers now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chicago Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. Chicago Sullivan will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 35-34 non-league win over Intrinsic (Chicago, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 4-14.
