The Tavares Bulldogs basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Hernando Leopards to 43 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Eustis for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Tavares will confront a Panthers team coming off a 61-16 non-league win over Mount Dora (Mount Dora, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 17-8.

With the loss, Hernando falls to 19-8 on the campaign.
