In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Point Pleasant Boro Panthers basketball team scored a good 50-42 triumph over the Central Regional Golden Eagles.

The Panthers (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Brick Memorial was toppled by Brick Township (Brick, NJ), 51-25, in a league contest.
