North Carolina High School Basketball - Lincoln Charter sneaks past Forest Hills

February 5, 2025: Denver, NC 28037

The Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) basketball edged the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), 49-47 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 14-6 record. They play next when they host Bradford Prep for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores bout on Friday, February 7. Lincoln Charter will play a Bears team coming off a 50-48 league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Bears record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Forest Hills falls to 17-3 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to Central Academy (Monroe, NC) to play the Cougars in a 2A/3A Rocky River bout on Friday, February 7. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-18. Central Academy lost 65-35 in their recent league bout against Piedmont (Monroe, NC)
