In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Francis Indian Warriors basketball team scored a good 49-29 triumph over the Wakpala Sioux.

The Warriors (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bennett County (Martin, SD). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Bennett County topped Jones County (Murdo, SD), 48-32, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Sioux confront the Oelrichs Tigers (Oelrichs, SD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Wakpala will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 65-40 non-league loss to Hay Springs (Hay Springs, NE).
