Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Ridgefield nips Notre Dame Prep
February 5, 2025: Fairfield, CT 06825 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) and the host Notre Dame Prep Lancers (Fairfield, CT), witnessed Ridgefield's ice hockey team hold off Notre Dame Prep by a score of 3-2.
The Tigers (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Rams come into the FCIAC challenge with a 15-0 record. In their last challenge, New Canaan got by Notre Dame (West Haven, CT), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lancers battle the Xavier Falcons (Middletown, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - DI challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Notre Dame Prep will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT).
