Virginia High School Basketball - Brunswick can't get by Southampton
February 5, 2025: Lawrenceville, VA 23868 Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Brunswick Bulldogs (Lawrenceville, VA), 52-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Southampton advances its record to 10-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Sussex Central (Sussex, VA) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 7-6. Sussex Central won 27-19 in their recent non-league match against Greensville County (Emporia, VA)
The Bulldogs now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greensville County for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Brunswick will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 27-19 non-league loss to Sussex Central (Sussex, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-2.
