The Portola Tigers (Portola, CA) basketball were winner over the host Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV), 65-57 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 12-12 record. They play next when they host Biggs for a bout on Thursday, February 6. Portola will play a Wolverines team coming off a 69-28 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 18-3.

With the loss, Sierra Lutheran falls to 12-9 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Friday, February 7. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 16-2.
