Kentucky High School Basketball - Anderson County topped by Mercer County
February 6, 2022: Harrodsburg, KY 40330 The Mercer County Titans basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Anderson County Bearcats to 26 in the Titans non-league victory on Sunday.
The Titans now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Campbellsville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 8. Mercer County will battle a Eagles team coming off a 71-40 non-league win over North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 14-6.
The Bearcats (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Oldham County (Buckner, KY). The Colonels come into the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Oldham County was defeated by Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY), 83-55, in a non-league contest.
