Maryland High School Basketball - New Hope Academy crushes National Christian Academy
February 6, 2022: Landover Hills, MD 20784 New Hope Academy (Landover Hills, MD) backers were pleased Sunday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting National Christian Academy Eagles (Fort Washington, MD), 70-42 in a league bout.
With the victory, New Hope Academy upgrades its record to 22-2 on the campaign. The travel to Shining Star Sports Academy (Petersburg, VA) to play the Panthers in a Freelance bout on Thursday, February 10. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 6-15. Shining Star Sports Academy lost 44-40 in their recent non-league bout against Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Riverdale Baptist Crusaders (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Freelance bout, on Monday, February 7. National Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 10-14 record after their 60-52 league win over Shining Star Sports Academy (Petersburg, VA).
