Minnesota High School Basketball - South St. Paul crushes Byron
February 6, 2023: Byron, MN 55920 South St. Paul Packers (South St. Paul, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Byron Bears (Byron, MN), 88-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, South St. Paul upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Packers travel to Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN) to play the Spartans in a AAA Section 3 bout on Thursday, February 9. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Simley lost 58-34 in their recent non-league bout against Tartan (Oakdale, MN)
Next up, the Bears play the St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Byron will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 78-66 league loss to Marshall (Marshall, MN).
