New Jersey High School Basketball - Sterling holds off Cherry Hill West
February 6, 2023: Somerdale, NJ 08083 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Sterling Silver Knights (Somerdale, NJ) and the visiting Cherry Hill West Lions (Cherry Hill, NJ), saw Sterling's basketball squad hold off Cherry Hill West by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Sterling improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Silver Knights travel to Haddon Township (Westmont, NJ) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Haddon Township lost 60-47 in their recent league challenge against Haddon Heights (Haddon Heights, NJ)
Next up, the Lions confront the Camden County Vo-Tech Warriors (Sicklerville, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Cherry Hill West will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-22 record after their 77-34 non-league loss to Camden Catholic (Cherry Hill, NJ).
