Iowa High School Basketball - East Marshall nudges GMG
February 6, 2023: Garwin, IA 50632 In Monday's non-league outing, the East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA) basketball squad nipped the host GMG Wolverines (Garwin, IA), by a margin of 83-76.
The Mustangs (5-14) will now prepare for their outing against Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 7-12 record. In their last bout, Prairie City-Monroe held off South Hamilton (Jewell, IA), 49-47, in a league bout.
Next up, the Wolverines play the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. GMG will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 86-41 non-league loss to Moravia (Moravia, IA).
