New Mexico High School Basketball - Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy crushes Tse' Yi' Gai
February 6, 2023: Cuba, NM 87013 Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors (Cuba, NM), 76-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Eagle host New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM) to clash with the Roadrunners in a A District 7 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a record of 8-9. New Mexico School for the Deaf won 34-31 in their recent non-league bout against Kansas School for the Deaf (Olathe, KS)
Next up, the Dine Warriors clash with the To'hajiilee Warriors (To'hajiilee, NM) in a A District 1 bout, on Thursday, February 9. Tse' Yi' Gai will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 62-40 league win over Northwest (Shiprock, NM).
