February 6, 2023: Wausau, WI 54401 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Wausau West Warriors (Wausau, WI) and the visiting Green Bay East Red Devils (Green Bay, WI), saw Wausau West's basketball squad wallop Green Bay East by a tally of 65-40.
With the victory, Wausau West improves its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI) to confront the Evergreens in a Wisconsin Valley challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Evergreens come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. D.C. Everest won 67-61 in their recent league challenge against Stevens Point (Stevens Point, WI)
Next up, the Red Devils confront the Seymour Thunder (Seymour, WI) in a Bay challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Green Bay East will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record. The Thunder come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 45-40 non-league loss to Clintonville (Clintonville, WI).
