New Jersey High School Basketball - Hudson Catholic holds off St. Mary
February 6, 2023: Jersey City, NJ 07306 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hudson Catholic Hawks (Jersey City, NJ) and the visiting St. Mary Gaels (Rutherford, NJ), saw Hudson Catholic's basketball squad hold off St. Mary by a tally of 56-51.
With the victory, Hudson Catholic improves its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Memorial (West New York, NJ) to confront the Tigers in a Hudson County - American challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Memorial lost 59-26 in their recent league challenge against Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ)
Next up, the Gaels confront the Cresskill Cougars (Cresskill, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. St. Mary will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record.
