Alaska High School Basketball - Haines crushes Effie Kokrine Charter
February 6, 2023: Fairbanks, AK 99709 Haines Glacier Bears (Haines, AK) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Effie Kokrine Charter Warriors (Fairbanks, AK), 74-11 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Haines upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Glacier Bears travel to Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK) to clash with the Ravens in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Ravens go into the bout with a record of 0-13. Ben Eielson lost 53-7 in their recent non-league bout against Seward (Seward, AK)
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Walter Northway Warriors (Northway, AK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Effie Kokrine Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 59-44 non-league win over Sand Point (Sand Point, AK).
