February 6, 2023: Hill City, MN Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hill City/Northland (Hill City, MN) and the visiting Laporte Wildcats (Laporte, MN), saw Hill City/Northland's basketball squad overcome Laporte by a tally of 53-38.
With the victory, Hill City/Northland improves its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The travel to Floodwood (Floodwood, MN) to confront the Polar Bears in a A Section 7 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Floodwood won 47-12 in their recent league challenge against Carlton (Carlton, MN)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Laporte will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 77-42 league loss to Kelliher/Northome (Northome, MN).
